Atlas Shrugged

It has been 54 years since Ayn Rand penned her much-debated, 1,000+ page novel, Atlas Shrugged. Last Friday, the Hollywood elite were finally defeated in their long fought battle to prevent Ayn Rand's message from reaching the silver screen. My congratulations and thanks to John Aglialoro who purchased the rights to the Atlas Shrugged nearly two decades ago.

It is no surprise that most of the well-published critics deride the film, in stark contrast to the reviews of actual viewers who applaud the movie as a welcome and well done film.  Critic Michael Medved is a notable exception as he pronounces Atlas Shrugged a movie "...that sticks it to the ruling class that is deliberately and maliciously driving America into the ground".

I am particularly looking forward to the portrayal of our current first lady in the character Emma Chalmers. Long live John Galt.
