I suspect that DeVega has done more to promote Mr. Cain's run for the Presidency than some of Herman's supporters. Yesterday, Herman Cain's chances were in the single digits in the early straw polls. I'll be watching what I expect to be his rapid ascendancy thanks to Chauncey. =/

On Chauncey DeVega's Herman Cain Post | AlterNet
On Chauncey DeVega's Herman Cain Post | AlterNet Herman Cain has raised some hackles within the Democrat Party, by daring to think conservative thoughts. DeVega stands by his reference "... to Herman Cain and other black conservatives as 'race minstrels' and 'mascots'...". Cain will not refer to himself as African-American, but uses the designation of American Black Conservative in describing himself both racially and politically.

Georgia Foreclosures Looking Better?
According to RealtyTrac's Foreclosure Report, Georgia's Foreclosure Filings dropped 3 percent in November. Great! The problem is that 1 in every 279 homes still stinks enough to keep us nearly 50% higher than the same month in 2009. We find ourselves between 3rd place Michigan's 15,311 filings and 5th place Texas' 13,369 filings. We Georgians are fortunate that we are well behind 1st place California's 57, 378 and Florida's 32,938, but being 4th out of 50 states in foreclosure filings is nothing of which to be proud.
1099 Reporting Defeated! ... or was it?
The U.S. Senate voted (again) to rescind the section of "Obama Care" that would require the compilation and submission of Forms 1099 on all payments of $601 or more in a year. Great!
But, what about the new additions of 1099 requirements for you to file a 1099 on rents received by you on your second home or cottage in the mountains? Dean Zerbe of Forbes helps bring us back to reality. Check out the link. Have a great day.
